S.M.I.L.E. Bowl-A-Thon Raises Almost $1000S.M.I.L.E held a Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser in Mesa, Arizona on May 14, 2005 and raised almost $1000 for the S.M.I.L.E. Organization! The event was chaired by S.M.I.L.E. Vice President Mark Ruffennach and featured 70 bowlers from all over the Greater Phoenix area bowling with the S.M.I.L.E. Clowns!

Mark had several helpers asking for donations and there was a fantastic raffle of prizes including free nights at hotels, dinners at restaurants, a bicycle and toys for kids, and much more! Thanks to everyone who asked for prizes and to the local businesses that supported the S.M.I.L.E. Organization! (Posted May 20, 2005)
New Board Elected At The S.M.I.L.E. ConferenceDuring the 6th Annual S.M.I.L.E. Conference (November 19-21, 2004), members elected a new Board of Directors to take office on January 1, 2005 and serve for two years. Elected to the new Board are:

Organization since 1998. When Axtell introduced the medium size 24" chimp in 1999, it sold out at that year's S.M.I.L.E. Conference in 2 hours!
