In order to keep up with the demand for his appearances, Buck only performs for elementary school audiences, grades K-3rd. At this time, he turns down requests for block party appearances.
Buck is a founding member of the S.M.I.L.E. Organization (Safety Magic In Learning Experiences). S.M.I.L.E. is an international organization that promotes the use of clowning, magic and puppetry to teach safety messages to children. Buck hosted the June 2000 episode of "When Duty Calls" on KGLN Channel 11 (city access cable show) with Steamer the Clown from the Glendale Fire Department. If you catch it on re-runs, you'll be able to see the 48 Plymouth police car (pictured above) restored by Officer Dan Kallberg of the Glendale Police Department!
